![]() She had a huge HS graduation party over the week-end & as she was rushing around to attend to her many guests after preparing the coffee, the filter overflowed with coffee & grounds EVERYWHERE. My sister has only had hers for around two months & her problem is a great deal worse than mine. (three seperate Bunn Coffee Makers) We all are baffled on what to do. Is it just the newer models? I too have this same problem, as well as my sister & our mother. What is the problem? Help! We all have had other Bunn makers over the years & none of us have ever had this problem. I sure hope the Bunn company reads these comments. Last week she followed the directions on cleaning the pot, using the wire tool, using vinegar, unscrewing the round knob the coffee flows from & using a toothpick to be sure all the tiny holes were cleaned. I too have this same problem, as well as my sister & our mother. Any suggestions would be wonderful!! Thank you in advance. Not to mention the coffee is almost nine dollars a pound, my time and the roll of paper towels it takes to clean the mess. I paid alot of money for this coffee pot. I'm guessing that I'm using the wrong filters. I also use Dunkin Donuts brand and I like to make it how they suggest. It makes a huge mess! Coffee and grounds all over! I like to grind the coffee myself. The filter basket fills faster than the coffee runs out.
